Recycling in Leicester made easy….
Most flats in the city have been individually assessed and either given orange recycling bags or recycling bins.
If you are a flat on bags, then these bags are to be used in the same way as the houses.
There are several different sizes of bins types of bins:
The size and number of bins are determined on assessment of your property.
You can recycle the same items in any of the recycling bins as you can in the orange recycling bags. The bins will be clearly labelled as recycling bins with a list of acceptable items on the front. Your bins will be collected weekly from their presentation point.
There are several large estates in the city that are still awaiting recycling, but work is in progress to identify the best solution for these hard to reach areas.
