To help make your visit as quick as possible and to reduce waiting times, please sort your recyclables before visiting the site and ensure they are put into the correct skip.
Freemen’s Common accepts household waste only and DOES NOT ACCEPT COMMERCIAL OR TRADE WASTE
Gypsum Close Recycling Centre has a trade waste facility and weighbridge for commercial customers.
You need a waste permit if you are driving a van, pickup, or a car with a trailer longer than 1.4m. Please visit Recycling centres to find out more and to apply.
Both sites are open every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. The sites are open 8am to 8pm (April-Oct) and 8 am to 6 pm (Nov-March)*
